New local cancer screening social media channels launched

Cheshire and Merseyside now has several new social media channels for cancer screening – in a bid to improve information and boost take up.

The Cancer Alliance has launched Cheshire and Merseyside Screening across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn to promote bowel, breast and cervical screening and HPV vaccinations to the public across the sub-region.

Examples of information you will be able to see includes:

• Service updates, changes or improvements
• Staff/Public/Patient/Service success stories in relation to screening
• Mobile/Popup Services – e.g. location/s, service details, dates and times.
