Accessibility statement for Cheshire & Merseyside Cancer Alliance

The website has been developed during a period from January 2021 to April 2021 by the Alliance with their appointed digital partner Frank Design, a digital agency specialising in the development of websites for the NHS.

We have tried to make sure that this website is available to as broad an audience as possible.

This accessibility statement applies to https://www.cmcanceralliance.nhs.uk/ and was prepared on April 30, 2021. It reflects the status of the site following accessibility tests carried out by Frank Design throughout the preceding design and development process.

This website is run by Cheshire & Merseyside Cancer Alliance. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts

  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen

  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
