A new course in Cancer Care has been launched in a partnership between The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and the University of Liverpool.

The course is designed for registered nurses and health and social care professionals who provide care for people with a cancer diagnosis within their care setting, and who wish to develop their own practice in the holistic care of people with cancer.

The part-time three-year programme, which has start dates in September 2021 and January 2022, has been devised by UoL and Clatterbridge’s Clinical Education team.

Students will be able to tailor the programme to their area of oncology interest, expertise and practice through a choice of modules, some of which are delivered wholly online.

The majority of modules offered on the MSc Cancer Care programme are also available as credit-bearing standalone modules, which can be taken to continue professional development.

The programme fee is £9,300 (£3,100 per year). Modules available in the programme can be taken as stand-alone for continued professional development (costing £1,030 per 20 credit module).

The application deadline is Saturday 31st July 2021.
