A consultant at Liverpool’s city centre cancer hospital is urging people having cancer treatment to continue to attend their appointments.

He says that despite the high level of COVID-19 infections in the region, attending cancer treatment appointments is safe due to infection control measures in place.

In a video message, Dr Dan Monnery, a Consultant at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, also explains why it is so important for people to get vaccinated, have a booster when invited, and keep taking simple steps to the reduce the spread of COVID-19.
