Colleagues from Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance took on the Born Survivor Challenge in Cheshire to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
Billed as the ultimate obstacle course, it is designed by Royal Marines Commandos to test team skills as well as fitness.
The 11 CMCA staff answered the call for courage, determination and teamwork, in covering the 10K distance with more than 30 obstacles to go under, round and through.
And they have raised almost £2,000 for the charity after the event at the weekend!
Simon Glazebrook, Transformation Manager at CMCA, who organised the event, said: “It was a tremendous team effort, with real courage and determination shown by the team who all overcame personal challenges and fears.
“We stuck together and got everyone round as a group. It was a fantastic experience. There are rumours of a new challenge on the horizon, so watch this space...”
