The Health Inequalities and Patient Experience team and patient representatives representated Cheshire and Merseyside Cancer Alliance at an event in London.

The team, along with patient reps Glen and Kevin attended a six-month Celebration Event in Guys Hospital for the National Cancer Experience of Care Improvement Collaborative (CIC).

It was a brilliant day, showcasing the hard work they have put into their project over the past six months, and they joined the 15 other project teams to share the successes, challenges and benefits of being part of the 24/25 CIC.

Bringing together staff, patients, carers and those who have a real interest in tackling health inequalities to improve admin and communication for cancer patients in their regions was so motivating and all of the work shared during panel discussions was outstanding.

CMCA is proud to be part of the CIC with two of our wonderful patient reps! Thank you to Glen and Kevin for sharing your experiences and being such an important part of our CIC team.
