A Liverpool-based cancer research organisation is holding a symposium this week to highlight the science around studies into the disease.
The inaugural Liverpool Cancer Research Institute (LCRI) Scientific Symposium will be held this Thursday and Friday (November 18th and 19th).
The symposium will be held at The Spine, a new office building in the heart of the Knowledge Quarter in Paddington Village, and where CMCA has a base.
It will begin at 4.30pm on Thursday 18th with keynote addresses from two eminent speakers.
The Scientific Programme of the symposium will continue the following day between 9am and 5pm at The Spine with activities centring on different cross-cutting science themes in cancer research in Liverpool.
Talks will be delivered by speakers who are experts in their own particular field and the aim of the event is to showcase some of the cancer research being undertaken in city.
It is anticipated that the symposium will become an annual event.
