A Warrington dad and Cancer Alliance ambassador has urged others to have a cancer check-up if they feel something is wrong.
Michael Crowe, who works with the Alliance to promote awareness of prostate cancer, met a friend who had been recently diagnosed with it, so decided to get checked out himself.
He was later found to have prostate cancer but it was caught early so after treatment, he is now cancer free.
Mike said: “Talk to your GP if there’s anything you’re not sure about, don’t bury your head in the sand. You don’t want to leave it too late."
