Do you work in primary care and want to know more about soft tissue sarcoma?

CMCA is hosting a webinar for clinicians and staff in primary care on this issue in March – and people can sign up for free.

This webinar – being held in partnership with Lancashire & South Cumbria Cancer Alliance and the Cancer Education Hub – will take place on Tuesday, March 15th from 1pm-2pm.

The session we focus on managing suspected soft tissue sarcoma and will be delivered by a panel of experts in sarcoma management.

The panel includes CMCA Primary Care Lead Dr Debbie Harvey and Mr Qi Yin, Orthopedic Surgeon and CMCA’s Sarcoma Lead.

The webinar aims to equip people with the latest knowledge and guidance to enable them to deliver the best care and advice to patients. 

During the event, the panel will:

  • Highlight the importance of being soft-tissue sarcoma cancer aware
  • Refresh the signs and symptoms of soft-tissue sarcoma; where to refer to in secondary care and what the next steps in secondary care are
  • Answer common questions around suspected soft tissue sarcoma
  • Inform of the steps to undertake pre-referral to secondary care
