The RDS programme will take place over the next few years and, recognising the need to have full implementation of the key principles by 2024, our priorities for 2021/22 are to:
- Build and accelerate current RDS implementation over and above our current population coverage for non-site specific RDSs, ensuring that there is adequate RDS capacity to support referrals
- Deliver multiple site-specific pathways that have been identified as being key to reducing diagnostic backlogs
